For anyone wrestling with these two answer choices, as I did earlier, I will explain my deduction to make D the correct answer. The question is asking which cannot be true/must be false. While A relies upon a logical fallacy, a reversal of premise 1, this does NOT lead us to conclude that it CANNOT be true, but rather that the statement is NOT NECESSARILY true. Obviously, D CANNOT be true. Thus, in the conflation of IS NOT TRUE and CANNOT BE TRUE, we became confused. I hope that this is helpful for those who get confused on this in the future, because I wrestled with it for some time.
