not Lives in suburbs on left in answer anticipation?

Hello! I was wondering what the thought process was for putting not Lives in suburbs on the left of the quantifies under answer anticipation? I understand that “some” statements are reversible, is that why? I think I missed something. Thank you!

    Hi @Phoebelman, Thanks for the question! It’s the result of being able to combine “some” statements with conditional statements in various ways. So the “some” statement should’ve originally been diagrammed PCM (planning committee members) <—some—> SFI (significant financial interests) And the “no” statement should’ve been PCM —> ~LS (lives in suburbs) Since we know that PCM —> ~LS, we can replace PCM on the left hand of the “some” statement with ~LS. So that’s how we get ~LS <—some—> SFI Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
