"Many" equals "Some?"

I just saw on a different message board that many is noted as some because most is strictly over half.

"many" should be treated as some. the example I saw was you can buy many stocks, but that doesn't mean you own most of the stocks.

Hi @COReee (great name btw), @Brooke-Salgado, You guys have got it. Remember that some simply means a non-zero number. Could be one tiny subatomic particle, or 100% of everything. Anything other than 0. So you can confidently diagram many as -s- Quick tip that I learned while studying: they will make it pretty obvious if they want you to diagram -m-, since it's quite specific. They will make it very obvious that it is the majority, or above 50%. Hope this helps!
