Diagramming issues

Hello everyone,
So I saw this question and diagrammed it out, I have been struggling to diagram these questions to be effective successfully, but I continued to diagram the answer choices. My diagram for B was pretty similar but I drew the conclusion out as "CECB-Some-C' to reflect that some who want children to eat candy are children. I wanted to know if this is similar enough to the conclusion drawn in the explanation. I worry that I am also wasting too much time on these questions as I usually diagram every answer choice to see which one is most parallel.

Hi Max,
Your diagram is exactly the same as that in the answer explanation- X some Y is the same thing as Y some X. Some statements are reversible, unlike mosts, or conditional statements.
As to the point about timing, I think the question of whether to diagram every answer choice comes down to understanding. Are you able to understand the argument structure without a diagram? If so, then you probably dont need one. While I would not worry about time when you are practicing, you should be building up skills that help you see why right answers are right and why wrong answers are wrong. If you can clearly see an answer choice is wrong without a diagram, you probably do not need a diagram to confirm that.
