Thanks for your post. First of all, you've mis-typed your conclusion. It's A-some-NOT E. We use A-some-M to link to the first premise, as follows: A-some-M==> not E Therefore: A-some-not E, which is the conclusion. You cannot link up M-most-A and M ==> not E into a transitive statement. I got little confused with "at least some of the people who appreciate poetry are illogical" Do I consider this sentence as a quantifier or as a S&N statement? Doesnt "people who" brings a necessary condition? How do understand this kind of sentence usually?
