Hi LSAT Max, I was also confused as to why (E) was correct. After reading Chris's explanation, it's not as confusing. Can someone confirm that the following interpretation of the explanation is correct? comparing food groups (carbs, protein, fats) and saying more calories came from one specific food groups doesn't explain why the presence of alcohol caused the ~175 calorie increase thank you in advance!

    Hi @Julie-V Correct! One calorie from carbs is equivalent to one calorie from protein, fats, etc. So the fact that more calories came from one food group says nothing about why ~175 more calories would be consumed at a meal with alcohol. Keep up the good work!
