Going to the Answer Choices

Hi LSAT Max,
When I read the stimulus, the first potential flaw to pop into my head was "what if an unauthorized individual gained access to an authorized person's voice (like a recording) and used that?". I think that's what led me to choose option (A) because there's still a possibility that the passwords (in this case, the voices) can be "stolen".
Is this kind of logic harming me for situations like this stimulus where we should just go straight to the answer choices with an open mind? Or was I being too extra for this particular question?
Many thanks in advance for the help!
