Why is A wrong?

While poetry does generally convey feeling, and while there is discussion of subjective factors like the idea of a poem generally having the feel of a haiku, I don't think the author ever actually confuses fact and subjective feeling. Everything is presented as fact, and there isn't really anything that seems like feeling dressed up as objective fact.

When I read answer choice A, my inclination to agree with its claim about subjectivity arose more so from the part of the stimulus that says "English poets have little respect for foreign traditions." The degree of respect attributed to a foreign tradition entails a subjective evaluation on behalf of the individual who either gives or witholds respect. In this sense, the stimulus proceeds from an objective evaluation of syllable count to a conclusion that requires subjective interpretation.

I agree there is an element of subjective line drawing in that determination. However one can absolutely say that something is disrespectful of foreign traditions. Sure you can argue about whether an element indicates disrespect or not these are matters of categories, this is not a matter of feeling. While you can make a decent argument for subjectivity it is not about it feeling.
