So there’s essentially a different strain of the virus every year. That’s why you’re supposed to get a flu shot every year, to help inoculate yourself against whatever the flu strain of that year is. So when it says “every year it will be necessary for all high-risk individuals to receive a vaccine for a different strain of the virus,” it means that every year, they need to get one vaccine, but that vaccines changes every year, because it’ll be for a different strain from year to year.
