Can someone please explain why A is incorrect?
Is the definition of coercion not being unfairly defined and employed here? Could you say that restricting choices helps us MAKE choice since we have less? Am I making too many assumptions here and C is more of a direct answer?

Take a second look at the wording of the premise. The author states that that coercion restricts the "ability to make choices," it doesn't restrict the amount of choices available.
What is the position being argued against? "Psychotherapy has been described as a form of moral coercion." The author might have a different definition of "coercion," but he/she never misrepresents this argument. It is directly addressed. This is why A is incorrect. The real flaw in the argument is that the author fails to see that goals and actual effects may not be the same thing.
