That’s all the “in other terms” part adds. You might have had this during college classes, when people would piggyback, but it’d basically be something like the classic: Jane: George Washington died in 1799. Mark: 1799 was the year in which George Washington died. So if you ever get an argument like that (unlikely), that’s the kind of thing this phrase would refer to. Hope this helps!
