I Didn't get this answer correct and I think its because I did not negate properly Why wouldn't the negation of... Universities that have a motive to suppress information concerning discoveries by their faculty members will occasionally act on that motive. be.. Universities that have a motive to suppress information concerning discoveries by their faculty members will NOT occasionally act on that movie. Couldn't not occasionally also mean frequently? Why does the negation have to be "never"

    Hi @ritagentile, Thanks for the question! So saying that something will “occasionally” happens is saying that it’ll happen “sometimes” or that it will happen “some” of the time. So this is basically a some statement. Remember on the LSAT, “some” means “at least one, possibly all.” Here, it would mean that the faculty members would act at least once on that motive, but possibly every time. So the negation of “sometimes, and possibly all the time” (which occasionally means here) is “never.” Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
