I chose answer choice A b/c it directly followed. However, I still don't see why D doesn't. Can someone please explain? Thanks!

    Hi, the author explicitly tells us there is another reason for a justified dismissal, incompetence. So, she does not have to believe that anyone who is justly fired is disloyal.
