Alright so we are trying to choose the answer choice that supports G's allegation that the works exhibited in this year's Metropolitan Art Show reveals a bias in favor of photographers. Why? Because even though an equal number of photographers, sculptors and painters submitted works that met all the traditional criteria for the show, more photographs were exhibited than either sculptures or paintings. Answer choice (D) does not support this conclusion because it discusses the REVIEWS of this year's Metropolitan Art Show that appeared in major newspapers and how their reviews seemed to have a bias, but the fact that newspapers might have had a bias does not support the conclusion that the Metropolitan Art Show was biased in favor of photographers. Answer choice (D) is immaterial. Answer choice (E) does not support this conclusion because we do not care about what happened in previous years. Doesn't variance from historical events without a just cause demonstrate a bias developing? That's why I thought it would be E ? "The fee for entering photographs in the Metropolitan Art Show was $25 per work submitted, while the fee for each painting or sculpture submitted was $75." The issue i had with this answer is that it doesn't necessarily mention anything about pricing in other years. What if it's always been 25 and 75? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your post! The key is to focus in narrowly and carefully on G's actual conclusion. G argues that "the groups of works exhibited in *this year's* Metropolitan Art Show reveals a bias." Hi! My issue with this question is that it doesn't say from WHOM the bias is coming from and I didn't want to make any assumptions with the price changes, hence, why I chose D. Should I have given greater weight to the premises mentioning the number of pieces each artist could display to guide my thinking towards this being a bias as evidenced by the price differences, despite having the same quantities?
