I selected the correct answer (A) but it took me a minute. Could you please explain why answer choice E is not correct?

    I did the same thing at first and quickly realized something. A virus isn't a disease. A virus can cause a disease but they are two different concepts. E states that it was a disease which was never stated in the passage
