Just to reiterate

So basically, say there are 1000 criminals. Also say 50% of all criminals who are publicly defended and 50% of people who are privately defended are guilty of their crimes (not convicted, just are guilty prior to conviction). Hence, If there are an even percentage of guilty criminals yet a higher amount of guilty convictions with public defenders, the deciding factor is the expensive private defender. Does that logic make sense?
