I chose C and absolutely understand why it is the correct answer. Can you also explain to me why A is wrong? I want to ensure I am getting better at making deductions and don't make mistakes.

Let me explain why (A) is wrong: let’s assume that it’s true that most homeowners know whether or not the walls of their houses are painted with lead-based paint, even if the walls were painted by previous owners. What does this change exactly? Why is this relevant? We’re trying to come up with something that weakens the idea that the passage should put out an article on lead removal, which would only affect those that know there is lead to be removed anyway. The fact that most homeowners know versus 49% or even less isn’t really relevant to this argument and doesn’t change anything. Thus, (A) is incorrect. Hope this helps!
