@rzamor87, Great question. Diagramming the stimulus, we have Profitably Sell -> Discount. No High Volume -> No Discount. High Volume -> Cater to Mass Tastes OR Specialized Market Access. If we take the contrapositive of the second statement, we can link up all of the terms 2nd statement: No High Volume -> No Discount Contrapositive of 2nd statement: Discount - >High Volume Profitably Sell - >Discount - >High Volume - >Cater to Mass Tastes or Specialized Market Access Let's take a look at (E). (E) says, "A bookstore that not only caters to mass tastes but also has exclusive access to a large specialized market cannot profitably sell books at below-market prices." (E) doesn't follow from the diagram. Here's how (E)'s diagram looks: Bookstore that caters to mass tastes and has exclusive access to a large specialized market - >not profitably sell books at below-market prices (E) contradicts the last statement in the chain. In order for the contrapositive to work, both of the flipped conditions must be negated, and they're not both negated with (E), so we can get rid of this choice. Does this make sense? Let us know if you have any other questions!
