I think E is directly supported by the 3rd sentence?

    @Crystal this is a Must Be True question so we are looking for the answer choice that is directly supported by the information in the passage. The problem with (E) is that in the stimulus, the toxins referred to are being released by some cleaning fluids. As such, (E) is not necessarily true since we do not know if these houses are using such cleaning fluids. Notice that (D) is much more general statement, "Keeping houseplants can compensate for some of the negative effects of poor ventilation."
