What is with the usage of the term "variety" as opposed to variations?

    Hi @njohnson140, Thanks for the question! Sometimes, the LSAT will use synonyms to try to make things harder for you to connect. What matters is if the underlying concept is the same, and if the word refers to the same underlying concept. So here, variety in the systems and variations in the systems should be understood to mean the same thing, and so the fact that two different words are used doesn’t matter. Hope this helps!
