How is C still the correct answer?

C says that "...but will not have protected every computer" when the passage clearly states that access to all the computers could be virtually eliminated. Isn't that directly contradicting the passage?

Hi, the passage tells us that companies can use this message to prevent every single computer from being compromised at the same time. That does not mean that it is protecting every computer from any virus, but rather Just that the entire network cannot be compromised at the same time.

So are you saying that "every single computer" in the passage means "the entire network?" Why doesn't "every single computer" mean "every single computer?"
