Does the wrongness of B hinge on the term "will be..."? i.e. If we replace "will" with "can", then B must be true

    Thanks for your question, @GreenMachine. There are actually two separate problems with answer choice (B). First of all, the stimulus does not establish that a virus will, if introduced onto a computer, destroy "all of the data on that computer." Notice that line four of the stimulus only says "much of the data." A second problem with answer choice (B) is the one you identify: "will be destroyed." We do not know for sure. We only know that, via a virus, a computer vandal "can" destroy "much of the data." Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
