Test Taking Strategy

Hi Cameron, This is definitely a matter of personal preference, but It mostly depends on where you are in your studying. If you are fairly far from your test and focusing mostly on accuracy, it is probably a good idea to diagram more. If you are getting closer to your test and focusing on timing, then it would be best to figure out when to diagram and when not to. Eventually, you likely will not diagram every question. While it is not a true rule, I find that must be true and parallel reasoning questions are the most important to diagram. For other questions, it might be best to take on a case by case basis. If you are confident you understand the sufficient and necessary in a stimulus, you can probably skip the diagram for many question types (although I would still diagram must be true and parallel). Likewise, if you're having a tough time understanding the stimulus, a diagram can be a useful tool to help you understand it.
