Reasoning for canceling an answer choice

I cancelled choice A out simply because I thought since this passage is only about the cities the person knows well and A is talking about "any novel". Therefore we couldn't properly infer from the passage but she analyzes the word choice in the answer choice with the word from the passage. Is my reasoning wrong? Which way might be better for answering future questions?

    Hi @sangagul1234ah@gmail.com, Thanks for the question! That is very good reasoning! The “any” in “any novel” is far too broad. Remember, strong words like “any” and “all” warrant special attention on the LSAT. They’re not always wrong, but they do have very expansive meanings, and for this question, “any” novel is incorrect as you say. Hope this helps!
