There is a typo on the video explanation

I have been puzzled by the video explanation for two days now during the commencement of the diagram portion the instructor begins by using an incorrect diagram for the sufficient condition. The passage stated if the nursing school cannot see an increase in able applicant should have been negated correct ? So logically one would think the instructor arrived at the correct answer after omitting the sufficient condition by already knowing the answer.

    The video is correct. The first sentence in this stimulus states, "Nursing schools cannot attract a greater number of able applicants than they currently do unless the problems of low wages and high-stress working conditions in the nursing profession are solved." We know that unless has two parts: (1) introduces necessary and (2) the negation of the other part of the sentence is our sufficient condition. Here, unless introduces "the problems of low wages and high-stress working conditions in the nursing profession are solved." So this would be our necessary condition: ===> PLWS & PHSS PLWS - problem of low wages solved PHSS - problem of high-stress working conditions solved Now we need to negate the other part of the sentence, i.e. "nursing schools cannot attract a greater number of able applicants than they currently do," for our sufficient condition. So instead of cannot attract, it would be can attract. AGNA ===> PLWS & PHSS AGNA - attract greater number of able applicants Hope this helps!
