I have been stuck on this for a hot while! Help please?

I have seen the answer below and it still does not make since to me cause how is the answer not (A) which is a view or perceived view then (D) not the same? Based on the following explanation "We have absolutely no clue what the ethicist thinks about the value society is placing on individuality," do we have any ability to interpolate the view of the Ethicist view on Vanity? I am sorry if that is wordy but I am trying to understand as we get deeper in to this lesson/home work problems I seem not able to pick things out as easy. Mehran on March 8, 2018 @jleav the problem with (A) is "ethicist's view that society does not value individuality as much as many opponents of cloning think it does." We have absolutely no clue what the ethicist thinks about the value society is placing on individuality, so (A) does not pass the "Must Be True" prong of Argument Structure questions. As such, (A) would be eliminated.
